Talent Acquisition Specialist

With an overarching focus to deliver our Vision 2025+ agenda, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role attracting, engaging and ultimately securing inspired talent that will bring our service philosophy to life across our store teams.

Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will have mixed portfolio both recruiting across our Support Centre as well as supporting with Retail frontline recruitment where required.

As part of a highly valued Talent Acquisition function, you will partner with senior leaders, P&C and external partners to create teams that deliver memorable customer moments now and into the future.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Partner with business leads on their recruitment needs and provide solutions to identify high quality talent
• Identify strategies considering appropriate group D&I initiatives
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience each and every time
• Identify efficient ways of working to improve processes to ensure consistent quality results
• Work with cross functional teams on People Experience and business wide projects
• Act as a brand custodian for David Jones with each candidate interaction

The Ideal Candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Demonstrated experience across talent attraction/engagement space preferably within fast paced environments
• Experience delivering end to end recruitment assignments in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for delivering exceptional candidate experiences
• Experience utilising HRIS, ATS/AMS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
• Engaging interpersonal and communications skills to enable strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
• A proactive sourcing approach and capability to engaging with diverse candidate talent pools
• A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for retail/fashion highly regarded
• A desire to work across broad talent projects and deliver solution orientated outcomes
